I cut my hair short about two years ago. I had a very cute and styled bob but I couldn't find anything that would help me style my hair without loads of product. I finally came upon this stuff and it is great!! It gives the perfect balance between piecy and texturized without weighing down my style. I can use it wet or dry whenever. When I left for bootcamp my father stole it from me and now he wont use anything else!

i bought this product in the hopes of finding a pomade/gel/lotion/anything that would help define and elongate my naturally fine, curly hair. this stuff is green and has a very sticky, gooey consistency, and it's smell is very sweet and fruity. i applied it to my hair when damp and it gave a little more definition to my curls and left a slight sheen to my hair. the product itself is decent; not the best but not the worst, but what i really found surprising was the packaging. i'd left the little green jar sitting on my bathroom counter for about two weeks without opening it again. when i DID open the jar up again, the inside had gotten rusty and red. it has these chunks of red rusty-looking gunk all inside the lid. yeah, it's pretty gross. i'm guessing it was caused by the metal lid. and the worst part is that the pomade is now an orange color. wow, HUGE waste of money. i'm not putting this crap back on my head, ever. it's expensive as Hell, does nothing my favorite 5 dollar gel from the drugstore couldn't do, and apparently turns orange if you neglect it for too long. ugh, never purchasing again.

This product smells very good. It works well in the hair. I had only a couple of problems. First, dirt/dust sticks to it like a magnet. My hair would end up being a big dirt pile by the end of the day. Second, after about a month the contents turned orange and it smelled awful. My guess is that bacteria began to grow in there. It worked well, but there are better products out there.

Mastermind is a great product that is similar to a pomade, but ends up drying rather than staying pliable, sticky, or greasy. It works great in wet or dry hair. My son has very thick stubborn hair that won't spike very well. I have tried lots of other gel type products that didn't work and hate the feel of greasy pomades so I was thrilled with Mastermind. I have also used it in my own hair to encourage curls when styling. You hardly need any product to get results and it has a nice fruity scent.
