Dencent Cleaning for an acceptable priceJuly 25, 2010 S. Karunakaran I have used the Braun's cleaning system/shaver units before. They are quite expensive compared to this but had a fresh scent and better cleaned feeling. This one works for sure but didn't like the scent very much (smells like a very hard/strong soap).But, definitely convenient than washing the shaver myself.

I just changed the cleaning cartridge for the 1st time and it was fairly easy. When I got the razor and set up the cleaner/charger it was a little bit awkward to install the cartridge. This time went much better and I'm sure it will continue to get easier each time I replace the cartridge. The cartridge lasted approx 30 days as promised. The cleaning/drying/charging cycle is a bit lengthy but this isn't a problem for me. I previously used the Braun cleaning/charging system and the batteries in the razor failed prematurely. Braun's warranty repair procedure was impossible to deal with so I switched to Panasonic and thus far I have been pleased with the razor and the cleaner/charger system.
great shaverMay 3, 2010 W. S. Dean(central wisconsin) It was hard to spend alot for a razor but reviews had been basically pretty good so gave it a fly--and am very happy so far. My beard isn't very heavy but still have to get rid of the grey stubble--shaves very close--the battery seems to last a long time--went almost 3 weeks b4 I figured it should get charged. Cleaning system works good but noisy--haven't used it in the shower---yet
